Outlook - 2147221233 , Business Contact Manager folder cannot be found.

Are you using the most current release of QuoteWerks?

When user is working with Outlook and attempts to save a quote or save a revision to a quote, they receive the error:

"The Microsoft Outlook Folder 'Business Contact Manager\Opportunities' cannot be found.

Make sure this folder exists in Outlook and that you have access to it. If this is an Exchange Public folder, make sure that Outlook is not offline.
This folder selection can be changed under the Contacts Setup Contact Manager menu.

Error (-2147221233) The operation failed. An object could not be found."

However, Business Contact Manager is not selected in Contacts -> Setup Contact Manager and the user does not have BCM installed in their Outlook.


Someone else on the network has Business Contact Manager and previously saved the quote using the BCM integration, so QuoteWerks is looking for BCM fields and opportunities inside the current user's Outlook installation.


Clear the contact from the Sold To / Ship To tab and then reselect them from the current user's Outlook - the record should save without issue moving forward.
