Issue:

When user attempts to reinstall the MS CRM link (such as during an upgrade) they receive the message, and or any other integration, including QuoteValet

Error 1325 - ACTPluginFolder is not a valid short file name

Cause:

The MS CRM or integration link is already installed and is corrupt, confusing the Windows Installer and preventing the new link from installing.

Solution:

Download and run the Windows Cleanup Utility from Microsoft:

IN THE FOLLOWING STEP MAKE SURE TO ONLY SELECT THE INTEGRATION YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE/REINSTALL:

Uninstall the QuoteWerks 4.0 MS CRM Link (or QuoteWerks ConnectWise Integration etc.) through the Cleanup Utility, then with QuoteWerks closed, rerun the QWMSCRMIntSetup ( or QWConnectWiseInt etc. ) link located in the main QuoteWerks folder. The link should install okay this time.
