Contact Manager - Login Credentials won't save

When user attempts to add login credentials for their contact manager on the Contact Manager tab of the Tools -> My Preferences menu, the credentials won't save. It takes the information and appears to save when user clicks Ok, but if they go back to look at them, the fields remain empty. This also applies if the user is attempting to modify existing login credentials.
The user's .ini file is set to be Read-Only or permissions have set their access right to the .ini file as Read Only.
Remove the Read Only restriction and the settings should save without issue.
