Outlook - Permission error pulling in a contact

Issue:

When user attempts to pull in a contact on to the Sold To / Ship To tab, they receive the error 2147024891, "you do not have permission to perform this operation on this object" or similar error.

Cause:

The user does not have permissions to read/write/modify the contact within Outlook. Typically the error occurs when the user is attempting to access contacts created by a different user.

Solution:

Modify the permission settings in Outlook for the user and the issue should be resolved.

Note: This will ocurr if the Default Email and Data File do not match in Outlook, QuoteWerks does not have access to write to the Data File

Solution:
Select File > Account Settings > Account Settings then make sure the email and associated Data file are set as Default.
