Question:
What is the Maximium number of Characters in the Description field for QuickBooks and Peachtree?

Answer:
QuickBooks has a limitation of 4095 characters in the Description field.
Peachtree has a limitation of 160 characters in the Description field.

QuoteWerks, however, has a limitation of 32000 characters in the Description field. When sending items over to the accounting packages, QuoteWerks will truncate the description to the number of characters established by the accounting software. QuoteWerks does not set this truncation limitation.
