Issue:
When attempting to Export to Peachtree you receive the following error message:
"The Peachtree customer ID specified in document does not have a tax code associated with it in Peachtree. Please edit Peachtree record and assign a tax code to it"



Cause:
The customer specified in the QuoteWerks document does not have a Sales Tax Code associated with it in Peachtree. You need to specify a Sales Tax Code even if you do not charge sales tax.


Solution:
Edit the Customer in Peachtree and assign a Sales Tax Code.

The Sales Tax Code is most often found on the General Tab, on the bottom left-hand corner when editing a Customer. If you don't charge sales tax simply define a Tax Code called "NoTax", etc. and give it a rate of 0.
