Question:
Will the Real Time Module work with a Remote PC installation of QuoteWerks?

Answer:

Yes. This is no problem if you are using the Real-Time Module with Synnex, Ingram Micro, or D&H. We do not recommend it if you will be using the Real-Time Module with Tech Data, since Tech Data requires a static IP address. Typically, the Remote PC will be used out of the office (out on the road) where a static IP address will not be available. You could, however, connect the network at the office and refresh the pricing for Tech Data prior to going out on the road. If you are using Tech Data, you maybe able to get around the IP address restrictions via a VPN or Terminal Services.
