Error - Error 339 in Setup Product Sources Window

Issue:

Clicking on the "New" Button while in the Setup Product Sources window causes:

"Run-time Error 339:

Component 'CTCOMBO.OCX' or one of it's dependencies is not correctly registered: A file is missing or invalid"


Cause:

It may be possible the CTCOMBO.OCX is corrupt or is a different version than QuoteWerks is expecting.

Note: In one reported instance the following conditions were true:
In Version 4.0 Build 17, the expected file version on the CTCOMBO.OCX was 3.0.0.9. and the computer reporting the issue had a file version of 4.0.0.1. While a newer version of the file should work, it appears that this was not the case for ctcombo.ocx which is a 3rd party control not developed by Aspire Technologies - the developers of QuoteWerks.

Solution:

Rename the CTCOMBO.OCX file to CTCOMBO.BAK and re-run the Nsetup.exe program. The Nsetup.exe program is located in the root of the QuoteWerks directory. This will install version 3.0.0.9 of the file which should resolve the issue.
