Are you using the most current release of QuoteWerks?
Version 24.0 Build 2
Issue:
Can QuoteWerks pull information off Excel worksheets such as prices of products? And if so, how?

Solution:
Yes, QuoteWerks can. There are two things that you can do.

a) You can either link directly to the Excel worksheet and retrieve product and pricing information from that Excel worksheet in realtime. The benefit of doing it this way is that you can leave your data in Excel so it is only in one place. The downside to doing this is that only one person that access the Excel spreadsheet at a time (this is a limitation of Excel). Also, only the basic information about the product such as description, price, partnumbers, etc can be retieved. This functionality is not available in the Standard Edition of QuoteWerks.

b)You can save the Excel worksheet as a tab delimited text file and then import the text file into a QuoteWerks product database. The benefit of doing it this way is that once it is in the QuoteWerks product database you can use all the product features available in QuoteWerks and can track and store more information about the product.
