Are you using the most current release of QuoteWerks?
Version 24.0 Build 2
Issue:

When trying to log into QuoteWerks, the following error occurs:

"Error creating Login lock file! Aborting!"



Cause:

The user does not have sufficient Windows folder permission levels

Solution:

Please make sure that all users that need access to QuoteWerks have Full Control folder permissions set on the QuoteWerks Directory.

Note: This is NOT the same as Windows Administrator rights!

To test this, try navigating to the QuoteWerks directory and creating a file in the directory.
