Question:
How does QuoteWerks integrate with iGoldMine?

Answer:
QuoteWerks can integrate with iGoldMine if QuoteWerks is initiated from the iGoldMine session.

Installation
Installing QuoteWerks on the iGoldMine server is similar to installing QuoteWerks for Terminal Services or other Thin Client. Basicially, you will need to do the following:
1. On the iGoldMine server, log into Windows as an Administrator
2. Run the NSETUP.EXE file located in the root of the QuoteWerks directory via Add/Remove Programs.

Launching QuoteWerks
--You will be able to launch QuoteWerks from a link on the GoldMine Record - When a QuoteWerks document is saved, it will create a "linked document" on the Links Tab in Goldmine. The user can then click on the link and this will launch QuoteWerks and open the document, or if QuoteWerks is already open, the document will open.

--You will be able to launch QuoteWerks from a shortcut on the Goldmine TaskBar - This shortcut must be created manually from within Goldmine.


A local copy of QuoteWerks can not interface with an iGoldMine session. QuoteWerks must be launched from iGoldMine.
