Are you using the most current release of QuoteWerks?
Version 24.0 Build 2
Issue:
When QuoteWerks is integrating with salesforce.com, you receive the following error:

Salesforce.com Integration Error
Fault Code (0). HTTP POST ERROR (-2146697208) The download of the specified resource has failed.

Cause A:
QuoteWerks technical support was able to reproduce this error when the computer's system date was in the past.

Solution A:
Double-click on the clock in Windows System Tray. Then set the date to be today's date.


Cause B:
Insufficient folder permissions to the QuoteWerks Directory

Solution B:
Make sure the ALL QuoteWerks users have Full Control folder permissions to the QuoteWerks Directory.


Cause C:
Firewall is interfering

Solution C:
Grant access for QuoteWerks in your firewall software




Internet Explorer Internet Security settings are blocking access to salesforce.com or prompting for clearance before allowing access.



Add the salesforce.com root domain to the trusted sites area of Internet Explorer.
