Question:

When saving a quote in QuoteWerks, how do I set the defaults for specific (or all) check boxes associated with functions in Goldmine?

Answer:

When a user is logged into QuoteWerks and saves a document, QuoteWerks will remember the check boxes that were selected/deselected so when the same user goes to save another document, the same check boxes will be checked/unchecked as in the previous save. This setting is found in each individual user's USER.INI file (Note: You will substitute USER with a different name- for example John Doe's USER.INI file might actually read John.ini)

In this example, all four check boxes are selected. (The first check box is always greyed out):

frmSave.chkProfile=-1
frmSave.chkCallBack=-1
frmSave.chkForecastedSale=-1

These will be set to 0 or -1 depending on whether the box is checked or not.

The names of the check boxes are exactly as I have them listed above in bold.
