Are you using the most current release of QuoteWerks?
Version 24.0 Build 2
Issue:
Error Opening Linked Document

Cause:
The message can occur when you are opening a DTF file that is not already in your QuoteWerks Database and a setting is not made on the Tools-Options Menu.

Solution:
To make the setting, go to the Installation Tab of the Tools-Options Menu. Then, check the box for Look for Synchronized Data.

Note: You must have Master rights to make the change.
