Are you using the most current release of QuoteWerks?
Version 24.0 Build 2
Issue:
Error 3021 'No current record', when creating a new product in the QuoteWerks native product database.

Cause:
This Error is reproduced by clicking on the Pricing tab and selecting the "Base Pricing on Customer/Product Profile when there were no products displayed in the product lookup window.

Solution:
This is fixed in the interim build 31.04 or higher.
