How do I change the default text for Subtotals, Discounts, and Charges? Solution: Advanced users can edit the [System] section of the site.ini to change the default text used for the subtotal, running subtotal, discount %, and charge % line items using the ini keys SubTotalItemText, RunningSubTotalItemText, DiscountItemText, ChargeItemText, and OptionalItemText respectively. This is useful for international customers whose language is not english, and for english users that want to use different text phrases for the indicated line item types Sample: [System] OptionalItemText="Not Required" POST v5.2: First, have everyone else close out of QuoteWerks and be sure you are logged in as a Master Rights user. -Go into Help->About, -Click on Settings Manager button -In SystemSettings click on Section and choose Defaults -Click the Orange Star to add a new setting -Make sure the Section is "System" -In the KeyName enter in OptionalItemText -Change the Key Value to contain the Text you desire -Close the Settings Manager and Click Ok - Restart QuoteWerks and Test |
