Question:
If I have a product in one product database with an optional item from another, how do I make it work.?

Solution:
Unfortunately, this is not possible. Optional Items are drawn from the same product database that the primary item is selected from. This is due to the fact that the primary item could be purchased from multiple product databases. Typically, the optional item would also be purchased from the same vendor based on feedback from QuoteWerks customers.
