Question:

Can I override the base currency symbol coming from the Regional Settings?

Answer:

Yes, by editing the site.ini file:

1) Close QuoteWerks, browse to the main QuoteWerks folder and open the Site.ini file (it may be labeled just Site).
2) Underneath the [System] line, enter the following:

BaseCurrencySymbolOveride=$

where the symbol at the end identifies how you want the currency symbol to display.

3) Go to File -> Save and close the Site.ini file. Reopen QuoteWerks and now the base currency symbol should override accordingly.
