Version 24.0 Build 2
How to Repair a QuoteWerks database.......
(This only applies to Standard, Professional and non-rehosted Corporate Editions of QuoteWerks.)

Step 1: Make sure NO users are in QuoteWerks.
Step 2: Run the medic utility \QuoteWerks\medic.exe by starting it from explorer or selecting the Programs->QuoteWerks ->Tools & Information->Medic Utility icon from the START menu.
Step 3: Click on the Maintenance button.
Step 4: Select the corrupted database like "docs.mdb".
Step 5: Click on the Start button.

If the repair process using the QuoteWerks Medic Utility is not successful, then the next thing you can try is to use Microsoft Access itself to try to repair the database. Microsoft Access uses different routines to repair the database and sometimes can be successful in repairing a database that the QuoteWerks Medic Utility cannot repair.

Make a backup of the file that you are attempting to repair.

Start Microsoft Access and go to File - Open and navigate to the corrupted database file.

MS Access should see that the database is corrupted and automatically initiate the repair of the database.

If you still cannot repair the corrupted database, you should attempt to restore the file from your company's backup solution.
