Question:

How do I get the Tax Rate to display on the layout as a whole number with the percentage symbol following? Using the Data Field "LocalTaxRate" isn't working.

Answer:

What you can do is create a formula field that multiplies the LocalTaxRate * 100 and display that formula field instead.

Create a new formula field by selecting Insert | Formula field. Give it a name without spaces or punctuation, "FormattedTaxRate" for example. Then in the window that displays next, use this formula:

DocumentHeaders->LocalTaxRate*100

and place the field in the print layout. Once in the layout, double click on the field, set the summarization type to VALUE, set the decimal places to 2, add the % symbol for the Currency Symbol and check the box for "Currency Symbol After Amount". That should now display the rate as a whole number and include the % symbol after the value.
