Important: These directions are for Local Installs/Single Users/Remote PCs only.  To move an install accessed by multiple users, see the appropriate topic in this chapter

1.Locate your QuoteWerks Directory/folder on the computer  you are moving it from
(To Check your Install Path, Log into QuoteWerks and Click on Help --> About --> System --> Install Path.)

2.On the new system, create a folder on your "C" drive and call it "Applications" (c:\applications).

3.Make a backup of the entire QuoteWerks folder

4.Copy the ENTIRE QuoteWerks Directory into from the original computer and place it into the Applications folder on the new computer.

5.Once the copy completes successfully delete or rename the QuoteWerks folder from the original machine just to avoid confusion or possibly working in the wrong QuoteWerks.
(Be sure to save your backup file though, just in case!)

6.Once the QuoteWerks Directory (folder) has been moved, make sure no other programs are running and locate the file named NSETUP.EXE.

7.Double click on NSETUP.EXE to launch the installation (Node Installation program).  Be sure to check the box to create a shortcut to ensure your desktop shortcut is updated with the new location.

8.That's it. You can now launch QuoteWerks from your new computer.

Special Notes:

1. Make sure that you give all users FULL CONTROL Folder Permissions to the QuoteWerks directory/folder on your new computer
