 2. Act! Desktop v27 is now supported! [Build: 1.01]

 3. SugarCRM version 25.2 is now supported! [Build: 1.01]

 4. USA Advanced Sales Tax capabilities! Supports line item level taxes, with multiple jurisdictions per line item (State, County, City, etc), honoring Single Article limits, max tax caps, and more. Line item level taxes meaning that some line items can have different tax rates and rules than other line items. AK, AR, AZ, FL, ID, TN are the 6 states in the USA that have single article limits of tax. While much of this is automated, certain calculations require manual creation of some tax rules. On the Document Items tab, there is a"Item Tax Summary" column will show you the individual taxes calculated for each jurisdiction for each line item similar to this "TotalTax=$2,245.00 on $37,000.00: [MotorVehicle] FL (@ 6% TaxTable)=$2,220.00,ORANGE (Single Article $0 to $5,000 @ 0.5% TaxTable)=$25.00". There is a Tax button on the Document Items grid toolbar that will show all the details of the sales tax calculations. The choice of which Sales Tax calculation system to use is set under the Regional tab of the Tools->Options menu. The detailed setup for the USA Advanced Sales Tax system is setup through the Utilities->Sales Tax Manager menu. The QuoteWerks QuickBooks Desktop integration was updated to support the USA Advanced Tax System similar to other advanced sales tax systems by calculating the advanced sales tax and entering a line item in the QuickBooks invoice to display it. This new Tax System requires the realtime module and current UMP. [Build: 1.01]

 5. A [Lookup Tax Rate] button was added on the SoldTo/ShipTo tab by the ShipToTaxCode field in addition to the one that is on the Sale Info tab. [Build: 1.01]

 9. Added DataManager support for PRICING.SalestaxCategories, and PRICING.SalesTaxRules. [Build: 1.01]

 10. There is now a new TaxSystem option of "USA/UK API Generic Integration (Y/N)". When this is selected, QuoteWerks will no longer perform sales tax calculations, instead relying on an API integration to calculate the sales tax amount due per line item, and for the total quote. The API integreation will be responsible for populating the following fields: DocumentHeaders.LocalTax, DocumentHeaders.GSTTax, DocumentHeaders.TotalTax, DocumentHeaders.AlternateLocalTax, DocumentHeaders.AlternateGSTTax, DocumentHeaders.AlternateTotalTax, DocumentItems.PSTTax, DocumentItems.GSTTax, DocumentItems.SalesTax, DocumentItems.AlternateSalesTax. The developer can also make use of the fields: DocumentItems.ItemTaxSummary, DocumentItems.ItemTaxData. The distinction of "USA/UK" in the new tax system of "USA/UK API Generic Integration (Y/N)" is really only related to the line item tax codes bring Y/N in the USA/UK vs the Canadian tax line item tax codes being B/G/P/N. Of note, the fields DocumentItems.PSTTax and DocumentItems.GSTTax were added in the v25 build 2.00 release. [Build: 1.01]

 11. There is now a new TaxSystem option of "Canada API Generic Integration (B/P/G/N)". The distinction of "Canada" is really only related to the line item tax codes being B/G/P/N vs the USA line item tax codes being Y/N. [Build: 1.01]

 12. The Microsoft 365 Oauth has been updated to use the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL). This change resolves authentication issues for organizations where older Office365 flows are blocked or deprecated, especially those enforcing stricter Azure AD security policies. [Build: 1.01]

 13. Support for Graph API for Microsoft 365 Oauth, so users will no longer need to enable Authenticated SMTP enabled for each mailbox. [Build: 1.01]

 16. Under Utilities->Exchange Rate maintenance, you can now specify a ConvertToRateMultiplier and ConvertFromRateMultiplier. This is useful to add your own padding to account for the fact that exchange rates do usually vary from day to day, this gives you a "fudge" factor. [Build: 1.01]

 17. On the Purchase Orders tab of the Purchasing window, when an item has more than 8 serial numbers, clicking the "+ x more..." hyperlink will now have a window where you can perform all the actions on each serial number. [Build: 1.01]

Selecting this option does not change how Cost is returned for other QuickBooks item types. [Build: 3]

 21. Added support for Rich Text in Memo fields in QuoteWerks Web, and added compatibility for this in QuoteWerks Desktop. You can only view and edit Rich Text content in QuoteWerks Web. The Rich Text entered in QuoteWerks Web can only be included in the Print output if the new QuoteWerks Web Layout is used. QuoteWerks Desktop will display the Plain Text version of the Rich Text. In the Quote WorkBook the following fields now support Rich Text (like bolding, italics, strike through, underline, left/center/right/justify alignment, indentation, font type, font size, text color, background color, bullets, tables, and hyperlinks): IntroductionNotes, ClosingNotes, InternalNotes, PurchasingNotes, CoverPageMessage, StatementOfWork, CustomMemo01, CustomMemo02, CustomMemo03, CustomMemo04, CustomMemo05. The RichText counterparts to these fields will have the postfix of "RichText", like CustomMemo01RichText. A plain text version of the rich text is also stored so that QuoteWerks Desktop will have the plain text since it does not support rich text. [Build: 3.02]

 22. QuoteWerks Web now has its own native Web Layout Designer! Similar to the Desktop Layout Designer, but improved in many ways, including supporting Water Marks, full edge to edge (bleed) printing, rich text, hyperlinks, keep together, grid snapping, the ability to copy elements between Layouts and more. In QuoteWerks Web, using a Web Layout instead of the Desktop Layout to generate your output is 10 times faster! [Build: 3.02]

Additionally, you can default the ItemType for items selected from Pax8. To use this feature, you must have an active Realtime and Product Content Subscription.  59. For Ingram Micro users in the USA and Canada, the Online Ordering integration has been rewritten using JSON rather than XML. We've done this in part because Ingram is sunsetting the XML API at the end of 2024, and also because the new JSON API offers some much better functionality addressing long standing issues. This updated integration functionality includes (1) In the XML API for Ingram Micro, Order Types could not be combined (such as orders that required end user information and those that did not). They can now be combined ensuring an ordering process. (2) Requesting current Pricing and Availability (P&A) from the Online Order form is significantly faster. (3) When entering Pricing Override notes on a PO Item, the notes will be remembered if P&A is requested again. (4) The Online Order Form is now resizable. The XML API is no longer supported in QuoteWerks, so you will be required to obtain JSON oAuth credentials from Ingram Micro if you do not already have them (https://developer.ingrammicro.com) and enter them in QuoteWerks in order to continue placing Online Orders with Ingram Micro. [Build: 1.01]

 75. For ConnectWise PSA users, when creating a Sales Opportunity in ConnectWise when winning an Opportunity, there is now an option to write a field from QuoteWerks into the Sales Order Notes field in ConnectWise. [Build: 1.13]
