New Features - Build 5
 1. New "Apply Multi-Line Changes" menu under the Edit menu. This enables you to apply the same change to a specified column for every line that is selected in the Document Items grid. Certain columns have some special features, like the QtyBase, you can enter "*3" to multiply the Qty value by 3. Also, you can enter "++5" to add 5 to the value. You can also enter "++5%" to add 5% to the value. Using "--" will subtract the values. Similarly, the UnitCost, UnitPrice, UnitList support the "++5%", "++5", "--5%", "--5" features. This window remembers last column the changes were applied to, and remembers per field what value the field was last set to. There is also a "Apply Multi-Line Changes" toolbar button on the grid toolbar. [Service Release: 5.01]

 2. Added new integration to Kaseya BMS! The integration with Kaseya BMS includes the ability to search for contacts, create/update Opportunities, create/update Quotes, create/update Activities, and upload quote attachments to Kaseya BMS. The Kaseya BMS Product and Service Databases are available on the Product Lookup. Contact DataLink is supported. You can attach files to the Kaseya BMS Opportunity from the PDF Preview window, the Links tab, and the Print window. There is a button on the SoldTo/ShipTo tab to display the contact in Kaseya BMS. On the Links Tab, Auto Links are available for the SoldToContact, ShipToContact, BillToContact, Opportunity, Activity, and Quote that you can click to view the selected entity in Kaseya BMS. The Corporate Edition of QuoteWerks is required to integrate with Kaseya BMS. [Service Release: 5.01]

 3. SugarCRM 10.1 is now supported! [Service Release: 5.01]

 4. For QuoteValet users, when setting the Deposit Method or Request Payment there is now the option "In QuoteValet, allow customer to pay full amount / remaining balance at any time." so that a customer can pay either the minimum deposit or the full amount. [Service Release: 5.01]

 5. For Ingram Micro USA and Canadian Customers, you can now view and import Ingram Micro Quotes created by Ingram Micro's sales reps for you, or created by yourself on the Ingram Micro website. You can choose from a list of Ingram Micro quotes created over the last 45 days, or enter in a specific Ingram Micro quote number. Once found, you can import all the quote details into the QuoteWerks quote, saving time and reducing data entry error. To use this feature, click on the IM button located on the grid toolbar on the Document Items tab. This functionality uses new Ingram Micro API Credentials which you will need to obtain on the https://developer.ingrammicro.com website. [Service Release: 5.01]

 6. For Autotask users, the Autotask Products Data Source on the Product Lookup window now displays a Categories folder which has a hierarchal tree view of all the Autotask Products Category levels. In Autotask, the Product Search does not have this treeview category search feature, so it will be easier to look for products based on category in QuoteWerks as opposed to Autotask!  7. For Autotask users, the Autotask Quote URL will now be available under the Auto-Links on the Links tab for Autotask Quotes the QuoteWerks Creates/Updates. [Service Release: 5.01]

 8. For Autotask users, an opportunity description field was added to the opportunity. [Service Release: 5.01]

 9. For Autotask users, QuoteWerks ItemType can now be mapped to Autotask categories when a new product is created in Autotask. [Service Release: 5.01]

 10. For Autotask users, QuoteWerks ItemType can now be mapped to Autotask serialized when a new product is created in Autotask. [Service Release: 5.01]

 11. For Autotask users, categories can now be mapped from Autotask to QuoteWerks when creating a new Autotask product data source. [Service Release: 5.01]

 12. For ConnectWise Manage Users, when adding Group/Bundle Members to a ConnectWise Manage Bundle, if the items had a Vendor or Vendor Part Number set in QuoteWerks, it will now be set in ConnectWise Manage as well. [Service Release: 5.01]

 13. For MS CRM (Dynamics CRM) users, the MS CRM Quote URL will now be available under the Auto-Links on the Links tab for MS CRM Quotes the QuoteWerks Creates/Updates. [Service Release: 5.01]

 14. For QuickBooks Desktop users, QuickBooks GROUP type items are partially supported. When you use a part number in a QuoteWerks line item that matches a QuickBooks part number that is already setup in QuickBooks as a GROUP type item, the description, price, and taxability from the QuoteWerks line item will not be used and will defer to those values as defined in the QuickBooks GROUP part number. When this happens, you will receive a warning to ensure you are aware this has happened. [Service Release: 5.01]

 15. For QuickBooks Desktop users, when exporting documents to QuickBooks, if for some reason the GrandTotals do not match, you will receive a warning message. This can happen when the tax rate specified in QuoteWerks is not matched with the tax rate item in QuickBooks. This can also happen when using a part number that is a QuickBooks GROUP type item.  16. Clicking in a cell in the Document Items grid now selects all the text in the cell by default. [Service Release: 5.01]

 17. You can now select the contents of the Qty column, and enter "*3" to multiply the Qty value by 3. Also, you can enter "++5" to add 5 to the value. You can also enter "++5%" to add 5% to the value. Using "--" will subtract the values. [Service Release: 5.01]

 18. Added CustomNumber03, CustomNumber04, CustomNumber05 DocumentHeader fields to Custom tab of Quote WorkBook. [Service Release: 5.01]

 19. A Grouped Bundle definition can now have a VendorPartNumber. [Service Release: 5.01]

 20. A Grouped Configuration definition can now have a VendorPartNumber. [Service Release: 5.01]

 21. On Open document window, added [F2Lookup] buttons for CustomText01 - CustomText06, and other various fields on the "More" tab. Double-clicking in these fields now just highlights text instead of brining up the F2Lookup. The same changes were applied to the Document Name field on the Save window. [Service Release: 5.01]

 22. ACT! for Web version 22 is now supported! [Service Release: 5.05]

 23. Another change to the behaviors of key presses in the Document Items grid. With the new changes where the contents of the cell are automatically selected when the cell receives focus, you can now press the HOME or END key which will de-select all the text and position the cursor at the beginning or end of the text respectively. Also, when all the cell text is selected and you press SHIFT-LEFT or SHIFT-RIGHT it will de-select all the text and position the cursor at the beginning or end of the cell respectively. Separately, when editing in the cell, holding the SHIFT key while using the LEFT or RIGHT arrow key will select the text in the respective direction. [Service Release: 5.05]

 24. The CustomDate01, CustomDate02 defaults from the Document tab of the Tools->Options menu now support the, for example, {+14} macro to default to today's date plus 14 days. [Service Release: 5.05]

 25. Tech Data's new Excel quote file format is now supported by the Import Tech Data Quote feature. [Service Release: 5.06]

 26. For Kaseya BMS users, on the Quote tab of the Kaseya BMS setup window, there is now an option to set the status of a "New", "Closed-Won", and "Closed-Lost" Quote in Kaseya BMS. These were hard-coded previously. [Service Release: 5.06]

 27. For Zoho users, users using the integration in Australia are now supported. [Service Release: 5.09]

 28. When no documents are open there are a limited number of menus available. In this context, there is now a File->Login as another User menu. [Service Release: 5.13]

 29. Goldmine version 2020.1 is now supported! [Service Release: 5.21]

 30. For Tech Data online ordering users, there is now a new "Flooring Account" default value that can be setup under the Tech Data Online Ordering Options window. [Service Release: 5.21]

 31. On the Templates area of the Open Document window, you can now search for templates by Template Name. Additionally there is now a selectable Header Field and Item Field search. You can now search for Templates based on any DocumentHeader or DocumentItem field in the database. The search fields can be text, number, or date, fields and you can do advanced searches like Contains, Greater than or equal, etc. You can also use the "Search Query" operator to do advanced search like '"good deal" -dell', searching for phrases and also excluding phrases. It also remembers, per user, the last fields you searched on and defaults them for next time. Additionally the value text box is now a drop down list showing all the unique values for this field in the database! This is especially useful for locating old part numbers in templates that need to be updated. [Service Release: 5.21]

 32. Added Spotlight search text box on the View->Customize columns window to assist in finding one of the 105 columns. The spotlight feature will highlight in bold all matching list entries and will ghost all entries that do not match. You can also press the DOWN arrow key or the F3 key to move the highlight to the next match. You can also press the UP arrow key or SHIFT-F3 to highlight the previous match. [Service Release: 5.21]

 33. For QuickBooks Desktop users, when exporting a Purchase Order, you can now use the [Map PO Header Custom Fields] mappings on the Mappings.CustomFields tab to map data to be copied from the QuoteWerks Document to the QuickBooks PO. If you create a Purchase Order that includes items from more than one QuoteWerks Document, then you will be notified, and no mapping data will be copied into the QuickBooks Purchase Order. [Service Release: 5.21]

 34. For QuickBooks Desktop users, you can now create multiple level Customer/Jobs like "ABC Company:Renovations:Family Room:AAAQ1001". [Service Release: 5.21]

 35. For QuickBooks Desktop users, when exporting a document, if the Customer does not exist in QuickBooks, you will now be asked if you want to create the customer in QuickBooks. If you choose not to, the export will be cancelled. The "If the Customer does not Exist" option of "Prompt to create" or "Create" on the Transaction.QuickBooks tab of the QuickBooks setup window controls this. [Service Release: 5.21]

 36. Sage 50 Accounting 2021 US Edition (Peachtree) is now supported! [Service Release: 5.21]

Misc Features - Build 5
 1. "QuoteValetWeb" Misc Access Rights have been renamed to "QuoteValetInsight". [Service Release: 5.01]

 2. Edit->Zoom Description menu was removed...double-clicking in the Description cell performs this action. [Service Release: 5.01]

 3. The Edit->Apply Quantity menu was removed. This action can now be performed with the Edit->Apply Multi-Line Changes menu. [Service Release: 5.01]

 4. Changed behavior of the pressing the up/down, left/right cursor (arrow) keys in the Document Items grid. Previously, while in a cell and pressing an arrow key it would first move the cursor to the end of the cell, and then on the second press it would navigate to the next cell. Now, a single press the arrow key will navigate to the next cell. [Service Release: 5.01]

 5. The SMTP and MailMessage controls were updated to v10.0 [Service Release: 5.03]

 6. For QuickBooks Online Users, an Exchange Rate of 1 has been applied to all Document Types. The Exchange Rate was previously 0. QuoteWerks does not currently support multiple currencies in QuickBooks Online. [Service Release: 5.09]

 7. On the Print window, the [Submit for Peer Review] and [Request Approval] buttons will now display the QuoteValet icon if you have selected in the setup to use QuoteValet for these actions. [Service Release: 5.21]

Fixes - Build 5
 1. For salesforce.com users, when using merge remote documents and checking 'Download attachments from salesforce.com' would receive error about attachment. [Service Release: 5.01]

 2. For salesforce.com users, when adding a new product to an opportunity, the list price was being populated with the sales price. [Service Release: 5.01]

 3. For salesforce.com users, when attempting to add an inactive product to an opportunity, the error message was not displaying the inactive product name. [Service Release: 5.01]

 4. For Autotask users, quote descriptions and comments with multiple lines were not retaining line breaks. [Service Release: 5.01]

 5. For Autotask users, the correct tax region was not being set in the Autotask quote. [Service Release: 5.01]

 6. For MS CRM users, when creating a new Order directly (vs converting from a quote) and saving to MS CRM, you would receive an object reference error. [Service Release: 5.01]

 7. For MS CRM users, when creating a new opportunity and selecting an existing opportunity in MS CRM, you would receive an object reference error. [Service Release: 5.01]

 8. For MS CRM users, if a custom MultiOptionSelect field existed for a contact or an account, would receive n error 'Conversion from type 'OptionSetValueCollection' to type 'String' is not valid.' when using the QuoteWerks DataLink feature. [Service Release: 5.01]

 9. For MS CRM users, when creating a new Order directly (vs converting from a quote) and saving to MS CRM, the Opportunity status was not being set to won. [Service Release: 5.01]

 10. When using the Tech Data SAP quote import feature, if the quote had an item on it that did not have a Manufacturer would receive an error about the XML field 'Manufacturer' not found. [Service Release: 5.01]

 11. When a document was locked, the Edit->Insert Section Header menu was still enabled. [Service Release: 5.01]

 12. For ConnectWise Manage Users, when creating a recurring forecast in ConnectWise Manage, there would sometimes be an issue with determining that the Start date was before the Expected Close Date of the Opportunity when this was not the case. [Service Release: 5.01]

 13. For ConnectWise Manage Users, when duplicating a document in QuoteWerks, the Address ID for the selected contacts would not be preserved. This would reset the Address ID to the default Address for the contact. [Service Release: 5.01]

 14. For ConnectWise Manage Users, when Converting a Quote to an Order, the original Quote DTF file would be deleted. This behavior did not match the other CRM integrations. The original quote DTF is now preserved. [Service Release: 5.01]

 15. For ConnectWise Mange users, the 'Defaults for Empty Part Numbers' Setting in the ConnectWise Manage Setup in QuoteWerks for 'Product Line Default Product ID' was being ignored and a default part number of 'QWGeneralProduct' was always used or a message was displayed stating that there was a line on the document without a partnumber mapping. [Service Release: 5.01]

 16. For ConnectWise Manage users, when converting a ConnectWise Opportunity Item to a Service Ticket, the Service Ticket would not be available in the Auto-Links on the Links Tab of the Quote Workbook if the Opportunity Item had a Class of 'Service'. This occurred because Service Products do not appear as a Product on the Service Ticket. [Service Release: 5.01]

 17. For ConnectWise Manager users, when receiving an item against an existing ConnectWise Manage PO, if the Tracking Number information in QuoteWerks was greater than 50 characters, an error would be displayed stating 'The field trackingNumber must be a string with a maximum length of 50.' The Item would not be received in Connectwise Manage. [Service Release: 5.01]

 18. For ConnectWise Manager users, when creating a ConnectWise Manage Service Ticket during a document conversion in QuoteWerks, if the user selected the cancel button, a Service Ticket would still be created in some instances. [Service Release: 5.01]

 19. You can now specify the Quantity Muliplier 1, 2,3, and 4 on the Advanced tab of the Edit Product window. [Service Release: 5.01]

 20. On the File->Print window, when clicking on the [New] button and choose "Sales Order" would receive error "An error occurred when attempting to create a new FPC file!" [Service Release: 5.03]

 21. Added Code Signing to ukv.exe to address false positive about ukv.exe containing a trojan horse virus. [Service Release: 5.04]

 22. Added Code Signing to QWLaunch.exe to address false positive about QWLaunch.exe containing a trojan horse virus. [Service Release: 5.04]

 23. If setting a Deposit Required as a Percent of a line item in the document, a runtime error 13 mismatch error would occur if the 'equals' dropdown contains an alpha value. [Service Release: 5.05]

 24. The CustomNumber01, CustomNumber02, CustomNumber03, CustomNumber04, CustomNumber05 and CustomDate01, CustomDate02 defaults from the Document tab of the Tools->Options menu were not getting applied in a new document. [Service Release: 5.05]

 25. When using Tools->Find Quoted item if a document was found that had an empty DocDate, would receive Run-time error "13": Type Mismatch. [Service Release: 5.05]

 26. When a quote was open and a second quote was opened and then CTRL-W was pressed to Close the second quote, the first quote would be closed instead. [Service Release: 5.06]

 27. Build 5.05 introduced issue with the Sales tax calculation on recurring items. [Service Release: 5.06]

 28. For customers with the USA tax system, the Recurring Amount displayed in the Bottom totals bar would have a rounding issue so it would not exactly match the actual quote total for sales tax. It was adding up the individual line item rounded tax amounts instead of adding up the taxable amount of all the recurring items and then applying the tax rate to it which is the way that QuoteWerks has always calculated USA sales tax to be compatible with QuickBooks Desktop. [Service Release: 5.06]

 29. For Goldmine users, sometimes when a sent email was logged in Goldmine the attachment would not appear in the email message being logged. [Service Release: 5.07]

 30. For Kaseya BMS users, when using the Datalink to retrieve taxes from Kaseya BMS, the tax rate would be rounded. [Service Release: 5.07]

 31. QuoteWerks does not support double byte character set used by Japan and China. These characters would be pulled into QuoteWerks through the Regional settings timezone and then cause corruption in DTF files. These characters are now stripped out of the time zone data. [Service Release: 5.08]

 32. For Zoho users, the view deal link in QuoteWerks was not showing the Deal for UK users. [Service Release: 5.09]

 33. For Kaseya BMS users, when linking to an existing Kaseya BMS Opportunity, a new Opportunity would be created with a copy of what was in the existing Opportunity. This would leave behind the old opportunity and there would now be two opportunities. [Service Release: 5.09]

 34. For QuickBooks Online Users in Australia and the UK, when creating a Purchase Order, the following error would be received: "Request has invalid or unsupported property Property Name:Unrecognized field "GlobalTaxCalulation" (class com.intuit.schema.finance.v3.PurchaseOrder), not marked as ignorable" [Service Release: 5.09]

 35. When a user had the CannotCreateNewQuoteDocuments, CannotCreateNewOrderDocuments, or CannotCreateNewInvoiceDocuments security right and they clicked on the "New" main toolbar button, it would allow a new blank QUOTE, ORDER, or INVOICE to be created depending upon their new blank document option set under Misc tab of Tools->My Preferences menu.  36. For MS CRM users, when linking to an existing Opportunity, the EstimatedValue, ActualValue and OpportunityRatingCode fields would not populate with a new value if the existing value was empty. [Service Release: 5.13]

 37. Would receive error about GetActiveSheetFromSelf() when opening a quote that was already open, or trying to open a quote that could not be found. [Service Release: 5.13]

 38. For MS CRM users, linking to an existing Opportunity with no Estimated Close Date set would cause an error when saving in QuoteWerks. [Service Release: 5.13]

 39. For MS CRM users, when closing an Opportunity in QuoteWerks, users would receive an error message stating that the Opportunity was already closed. [Service Release: 5.13]

 40. For MS CRM users, linking to an existing Opportunity would cause an error when saving in QuoteWerks. [Service Release: 5.13]

 41. For Zoho users, a renamed value for a LeadSource field would still show the original value name on the Deal in Zoho. [Service Release: 5.13]

 42. For Autotask users, the tax region for the quote on an opportunity was being set to the first active tax region in the list, instead of the tax region selected in the Autotask opportunity. [Service Release: 5.13]

 43. For Autotask users, if a document name has an ampersand (&) in the name when converting to an Order, an error would occur. [Service Release: 5.13]

 44. On the Print document window, when clicking on the [Request Approval] button, and the document required multiple escalated approval, it would send the Single approval email template. [Service Release: 5.21]

 45. When in the Layout Designer, and inserting a field, the CustomText21 - CustomText28 fields were not showing their customized labels. Also the "Header Field" drop down search fields in the Open Document window were not showing their customized labels. [Service Release: 5.21]

 46. When cloning a QuoteWerks contact database contact would receive Error in SystemSetting_GetEx(). You must specify SectionName, AND KeyName values! [Service Release: 5.21]

 47. For QuickBooks Desktop users, when exporting a Purchase Order, the [Map PO Header Custom Fields] mappings on the Mappings.CustomFields tab were being ignored. [Service Release: 5.21]

 48. When a document approval required multiple approvals, the same approver was allowed to approve more than once. [Service Release: 5.21]

 49. When linking to an external product data source like Access, Excel, MSSQL, ODBC, or OLEDB, even if you mapped a field to the UnitPrice field, if a default PriceModifier was set (under Document Items tab of Tools->Options), it would be applied causing the UnitPrice to get overwritten with the PriceModifier based calculation.  50.  52. When editing a product on the Edit Product window, would receive error message about the Quantity Multiplier field values being 0. This issue was introduced in v5.5 build 5.01 [Service Release: 5.21]

 53. When an email was sent that had a hyperlink in it, the end of the hyperlink display text could have a space appended to it, appearing as an underlined space. [Service Release: 5.21]

 54. The F2 Lookup list from the Zoom Text window was not displaying items. [Service Release: 5.21]

 55. When a PO number entered into an online order form, or a manual PO is larger that the accounting system or QuoteWerks Purchase order supports, you will be alerted and asked to enter a shorter PO Number. [Service Release: 5.21]

 56. Issue with Windows Authentication Login support when the domain had more than 1000 user ids. [Service Release: 5.21]

 57. The 'Apply Multi-Line Changes' was not applying changes if a field name label was customized. [Service Release: 5.21]

 58. Would receive error "nothing in sel array", if you opened a quote and then immediately clicked on a non-selected line and started dragging it. [Service Release: 5.22]
