For QuoteValet users, when you opened a quote that was previously uploaded to QuoteValet, and changes were applied to the quote by the customer on QuoteValet, QuoteWerks saved those changes to the database, but did not update the CRM Sales Opportunity (if there was one). Now it will prompt you to update the CRM Sales Opportunity if the GrandTotal changes.

If a document was uploaded to QuoteValet, if it has been Accepted, or Accepted By Proxy, or Lost, then when you open the document, QuoteWerks will no longer try to apply field level changes from the QuoteValet document to the QuoteWerks document. This change fixes an issue where a customer accepted a quote on QuoteValet and supplied some field values that initially updated the QuoteWerks quote, but then the user changed them, and the next time they opened the quote, it would apply the values from the accepted QuoteValet quote, overwriting the changes the user had made after the acceptance.

The [Request Approval] button on the Print window will now be enabled even if the customer has accepted the quote through QuoteValet. The reason is that after the acceptance, maybe the sales rep needs to change a Purchasing Notes field or similar field and with this button enabled they can now request the approval again.

For QuoteValet payment users, Stripe Checkout is now supported! Stripe Checkout differs from our standard Stripe Payments integration in that the customer is redirected to Stripe's own servers during the payment process. This offloading to Stripe ensures compliance across a full range of European regulatory requirements (PSD, PSD2, SCA, 3DS, 3DS2 etc). Setup requires only a few additional steps beyond the standard Stripe configuration (including adding a Webhook entry in Stripe's Dashboard and then pasting the corresponding signing secret into the Payment Setup in QuoteWerks).

Multiple Monitor enhanced support. Changes have been made to better control which monitors windows appear on when they open. When the "Don't remember window location" option on the Misc tab under Tools->My Preferences is checked, window locations will not be remembered, so windows like the Product Lookup window will just open on the same monitor as the main QuoteWerks application. If this is unchecked then QuoteWerks will remember the last location you positioned the following QuoteWerks windows: Main window, Product Lookup, Configurator, Purchasing, QuoteValet Dashboard, Send Email, and Email Templates. QuoteWerks will position them in those locations the next time you open those windows. QuoteWerks already remembers window sizes and locations per each machine that you use to run QuoteWerks. Now it will also remember separate settings for when you are remoted (using RDP) into a machine running QuoteWerks, and even per which remote machine you are using. This is very useful since often when you remote in you only have access to one monitor, rather than your multiple monitors you have access to when sitting in front of your machine.

For QuoteValet users, the SalesRep is notified by email the FIRST time a customer views the quote since it was uploaded to QuoteValet. QuoteValet Auto-Reminders! How much time do you spend following up with customers reminding them that their quotes are about to expire, or resending quotes to them because you know they have not even viewed them yet, or reminding them that they accepted the quote, but have not paid yet? QuoteValet can now do that all automatically for you! You can set the defaults for these options on the Notifications tab of the QuoteValet Setup window. While the defaults will be applied to all quotes uploaded to QuoteValet, you can also control these reminders at the individual quote level through the [Reminder options] button on the Upload To QuoteValet window. As usual all of these email notification templates are editable for you to customize! Here is a complete list of QuoteValet Auto-Reminder email options: Remind Recipient if document NOT VIEWED within x days. Remind Recipient when document is EXPIRING in x days. For QuickBooks users, when exporting QuoteValet payments, you can now setup mappings that map the QuoteValet payment methods to different payment method and deposit accounts in QuickBooks. For example, while QuoteValet sends over VISA or MC, in QuickBooks, you might want the payment method for both of those to simply be "Credit Card". When accepting a payment when PayPal was used, you might want that payment to be deposited into a different account than where the regular credit card payments are deposited. The mappings become even more important when accepting check or wire transfer payments by proxy as you will typically want to deposit those payments into different accounts, for example, a check would go into "Undeposited Funds", whereas a wire transfer would be deposited directly into the bank account.

For QuoteValet users, when making payments by Proxy, you can now specify the payment method like Check, Wire Transfer or VISA, etc for times when the customer just calls in directly with payment. This is particularly useful when exporting these payments from QuoteValet to QuickBooks. You can also specify the Proxy Payment Reference, useful when receiving a check payment to enter for example "ck#1234".

If QuoteValet accepted credit card payment for an order that had recurring items on it, you will now be able to retrieve the credit cards details (in a PCI compliant manner) from the payment (from Payments tab on QuoteValet Dashboard or QuoteValet tab in the quote) necessary to bill your customers credit card for the recurring charges each month/quarter, etc. Just right click on the payment entry and choose "Copy Payment Details" which will copy the information into the Windows Clipboard. Along with this feature are two new security rights. If the security right "CannotViewFullCreditCardDetails" is set then the user will not be able to view/copy the full credit card details. If the security right "CannotViewOthersFullCreditCardDetails" is set then the user will not be able to view/copy the full credit card details from other sales reps orders.

For QuoteValet users, QuoteValet quotes can be "Accepted by Proxy". While the most ideal situation is for you to upload your quote to QuoteValet and then have the customer click on "I Accept" through the QuoteValet page, sometimes the customer simply calls in to ask some clarifying questions or to accept the quote and provide their payment information at the same time. For just this situation, QuoteValet now has an "Accept by Proxy" feature. It works seamlessly within QuoteWerks. When you convert a quote to an order, the QuoteValet counterpart is flagged as Accepted. This is particularly important for reporting.

For QuoteValet users, in the QuoteValet Dashboard you can now delete a quote from QuoteValet. Typically you will not need to or want to do this except for when you have been creating test quotes and uploading them to QuoteValet. Once a quote has been accepted by a customer through QuoteValet you are not able to delete that quote and the electronic signature acceptance documentation unless you have master rights in QuoteWerks.

For QuoteValet users, you can now recall a quote. When a quote is recalled, your customer will not be able to view the quote. Instead, they will be redirected to a template that says, for example, "Sorry, this document has been recalled on 12/15/2010 at 9:45am by John Lewe." Optionally you can set a reason for the recall that your customer will see. Often you will leave it blank, but typically you would enter something like "Sorry, I forgot to include monthly maintenance, I'll have an updated quote to you today by 4:00pm". Of course, if you can quickly address whatever you forgot to do in the quote you can just re-upload the quote to QuoteValet. The recall feature is mostly used when you know that you cannot quickly make the change that is needed. Additionally since QuoteValet enables you to publish your quote to the cloud (for a specific customer), it is important to know that you can rescind that publishing while at the same time letting the customer know that you purposely have recalled the quote rather than it just disappearing.

As options are selected and unselected, the shipping and sales tax for these changes are calculated in real-time on QuoteValet. Sometimes you might want to upload a quote to QuoteValet that just has the PDF of the quote and then acceptance section - with no line item details. Other times depending upon the quote you may just want to upload the quote to QuoteValet that just shows the line items on the quote and no PDF file. And sometimes you may want to include both the line items and the PDF file attachment. Now you can do this.

If a quote has already been uploaded to QuoteValet for customer review, if you attempt to upload the quote for peer review, you will now be warned that the peer review copy will overwrite the customer review copy. I normal cases, peer reviews are performed before releasing the quote to the customer.

On the Sale Info tab you can specify an expiration date for the quote. This is particularly useful for QuoteValet users. If your customer views the quote on QuoteValet after it has expired, they will see a message stating that the quote has expired and there will be a link for them to click to request an updated quote from you. Your customer will still be able to view the quote, but will not be able to accept a quote that has expired.
