Version 24.0 Build 2
Question:
How can I insert an item into the quote rather than append it?

Answer:
1. Select the Tools->My Preferences menu
2. On the Misc tab, put a checkmark next to Enable Add Item Assistant and click Ok.
3. Now when you add products to the quote, you will have the choice to insert or append the item. This functionality is in build 11 or later.
