Question:
I need a custom report which would use the Sale Date and Probability to forecast future sales of each item. Can this be done?

Solution:
1. You can customize a CustomText01 column on the DocumentItems of the quote workbook to store the probability for each line item in the quote. The CustomText01 column is a text column, so only enter "10" for "10 %". (DO not include the quotes).
2. You can create a report that filters on the DocumentHeaders->DocDate field, and includes the line items for each quote in that date range.
3. Insert the DocumentItems->CustomText01 field into the report layout to display the probability of close for each line item quoted.
